Data Scientist
Job Description: Scala Computing is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in developing data-driven solutions, with a focus on enhancing our high-performance computing platform's AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models to improve the performance and scalability of our platform.
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights and inform decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and AI researchers, to integrate data science solutions into our platform.
- Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of machine learning models and algorithms.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through visualizations and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data science and machine learning, including hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Experience with data processing tools and platforms such as SQL, Hadoop, or Spark.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and AI-driven applications is a plus.
